They only come out during the winter. A cross between a lemon and a mandarin orange. Small, fragrant lemony orange and intoxicating. I bought my mom a Meyer's Lemon tree one year....I steal it's precious little fruits as I leave her house - she'll never know, right? I use them in all of my recipes instead of regular lemons. I especially love them in my water. If you have issues drinking enough water during the day or don't like to drink water, add a Meyer's lemon slice and it will take you away to a citrus field in Florida. I will shed a tear when the season is over....but until them I will get my fill.
Mm! I love Myers Lemons, my dad happens to have a tree right in his backyard. Although traditionally Mojitos are made with limes, make one with a Myers Lemon. It by far is the best tasting Mojito, traditional or not!
