EAT - SHEPHERDS PIE

If I was a Shepherd, which I am not, and I lived in Ireland, which I don't - I would eat this pie.  If I was just a regular California girl, which I am and lived in California, which I do - I would eat this pie.  If I was you, which I am not and lived where you lived - I would eat this pie.  So are you getting it?  EAT this PIE.  The ultimate in "cozy" sit by the fire warm your tummy comfort food.  I can smell it cooking now.

Mashed Potatoes

Buckets, vats, troughs, bowls, I don't care how you serve them just make sure you have plenty of em'.  I am talking mashed potatoes.  The ultimate comfort food. A must at any turkey day meal and appropriate pretty much any time of the year.  What makes Thanksgiving mashed potatoes better than the rest ? Gravy people, it's the gravy.  Tis the season people - eat mashed potatoes.

For me it's a big bowl of buttered noodles, a huge pile of mash potatoes or strawberry cheesecake with a beer - yes, you heard me correctly, with a beer.  Yum.  We all have our favorite, I need a hug, woe is me, I had a bad day, I have a cold, he/she doesn't love me anymore go to comfort food.  What's your favorite comfort food?
