So as you all know Eat Love Bikini is my new blog chronicling my new life as a bathing suit designer and living a better quality of life. I am trying to reach the masses with my blog so when my swimsuit line launches (soon) I'll have a strong following. Recently I was contacted by CSN Stores who found my blog (yea!) and offered me a chance to write a review about some of their products! Since I was not familiar with CSN Stores I checked them out and was nicely surprised. I’ve been looking for LCD TV Stands and they have an awesome selection – some even have fireplaces built into them! I already fell in love with about 10 things from their bed and bath section and can’t wait to get my hands on them!

EAT - T O A S T
Is this why I am not losing any weight? Can I just blame it all on my morning toast with strawberry jam and butter? For the most part I eat well - but I could do better. And since I work late nights I miss a "proper" dinner and eat after 10:00 P.M every night. That could be the culprit or it could be the scrumptious buttery toast - YUM. Hmmmm what to do what to do? Well for the time being, I am going to shout it out at the top of my lungs I LOVE TOAST and see if I can forgo it in the morning. I'll let you know.

L O V E - L O V E
We all love LOVE and should remember to enjoy everything we love on a daily basis not just on the one day of the year that we are being told/sold to love. As you already know I love the 3 B's - Beach, Boys and Bikini's and I am thankful everyday that I live a short drive over the hill from the beach, get to design awesome bikini's and have many many wonderful boys in my life. But I also love my friends, my wonderful family, music and everything and everyone in my life. So remember to love today and everyday.Tuesday, February 8, 2011

Everyone has one - a secret spot that they go to where, hopefully the GP (general population) hasn't discovered it yet. It could be a locals only beach, a super secluded surf spot or a magical waterfall that appears out of no where. Where is your secret spot?

L O V E - T O E ' S
The other day someone noticed that my fingernails and toenails had different color polish - he said "don't you want your fingers to match your toes"? I replied "fingers are business and toes are fun". I am not sure if he really got what I was saying. I am never matchy matchy and the brighter the polish on the toes the better. Currently my favorite is neon pink - I think I'll be rockin this color into Spring.

L O V E - S E A
One of my most favorite books is " Gift from the Sea" by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. What I love about this book is that it was written in 1955 and still holds true today. It is classic and ageless. Lindbergh shares her thoughts on youth and age, love and marriage, peace and solitude drawing inspiration from shells on the shore while on a seaside vacation. My battered copy lives on my bookshelf in plain sight, as a reminder. From time to time I'll pull it down and randomly read a page - always amazed by how that random page holds true to what is currently happening in my life. Today I flipped to page 24 all about beach living - "One learns first of all in beach living the art of shedding; how little one can get along with, not how much. Physical shedding to begin with, which then mysteriously spreads into other fields. Clothes, first." Every girl/woman/mom/bride to be should read this book and remember not to "sweat the small stuff and live life to the fullest....on the beach if possible!

E A T - B E E T S
For my 10th birthday my mom made me a chocolate beet cake in the shape of a pair of blue jeans. The cake looked amazing and tasted equally so, but I was mortified that my friends would find out that there were beets in the cake. I kept envisioning big chunks of beets with every bite full and all of my 10 year old girlfriends screaming "GROSS"!. No one found out and to this day this is still one of my all time favorite cakes.http://beyondwonderful.com/recipes/desserts/cakes/chocolate_beet.htm
